De tre søskende, Cemal, Kenan og Suzi, er gradvist gledet fra hinanden, efter, at de fraflyttede den lille landsby, Hasanlar, hvor de voksede op sammen. Da Cemal, den ældste af de tre, modtager et uventet opkald fra deres far, som kræver, at de straks vender hjem til fødebyen, føler han, at han må forsøge at genforene familien og overbeviser sin bror og søster om at vende hjem til det sted, de har arbejdet så hårdt på at glemme. De tre må dog snart sande, at det ikke er helt let, at skulle forholde sig til fortiden såvel som hinandens særheder… Filmen vandt Juryens hovedpris ved Sundance International Film Festival.

The topic of dysfunctional families will continue to be important no matter where is set the story. In this case, we have three siblings who receive an urgent call to go back to their home village in Turkey and visit their estranged father. The two brothers and the sister follow the instruction unwillingly. Cemal is a bitter astronaut, living in Germany, dissatisfied by the state of space exploration. Kenan is an actor with unstable career, lately related to dubbing cat videos. Suzan is the youngest of all, she is not happy with her marriage, planning to leave her husband. When the siblings arrive at the village, they learn that their father has died and receive an unusual instruction about his funeral. Created by the Turkish Director Tolga Karaçelik, the film is a Winner of the World Cinema Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival.
