Lena’s husband is the only soldier who survived, though unconscious, from a mission in a dangerous zone, where the laws of Nature are mysteriously twisted. As a biologist, Lena (Natalie Portman) wants to know what has injured her husband and how could she help him. Together with four other scientists, Lena volunteers for a second journey to the unknown.
