EditSolo: A Star Wars Story (2017)

Set before the events of the original 1977 film, it explores the adventures into the criminal underworld of the young Han Solo and Chewbacca, including the encounter with Lando Calrissian. The film is focused on the story of Han Solo before joining the Rebellion. We see Alden Ehrenreich as Solo, accompanied by Woody Harrelson as Tobias Beckett, a criminal and Han's mentor; Emilia Clarke as Qi'ra, Solo’s childhood friend; Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, a smuggler; Paul Bettany as Dryden Vos, a crime lord. There is a special anniversary, related to Solo: A Star Wars Story. It is scheduled to be released on May 25, 2018, which is exactly 41 years after Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope in which Harrison Ford first appeared as Han Solo.

The devoted Star Wars fans were anticipating this sequence to the 2016’s “Rogue One” film with genuine excitement. Focused on the Han Solo (played by Alden Ehrenreich) character, this is a story about events that precede “A New Hope” film with more than ten years. We become witnesses of the beginning of a beautiful friendship between Solo and Chewbacca, who become allies in some underground business of criminal nature. While Solo’s dream is to become a pilot, the best in the galaxy, he comes across the young Lando Calrissian (Donald Glover) at the gambler table and makes the Millenium Falcon his possession. The “Game of Thrones” fans would be delighted to see their favorite Daenerys Targaryen in the role of Solo’s former lover Qi'ra.
